Ultra-Modern Frames for Stretched Canvas
Like the much-lauded Little Black Dress, a black frame around a stretched canvas never goes out of style. It’s a classic look that will be with us for decades to come, and for good reason - it works! It’s a seamless look that fits in with almost any wall decor or interior design theme. So if you’re staring at your wall right now, unsure of which choice to make next, chances are this frame type will work well for you. But just in case you are still shy about pulling the trigger on black, our modern-looking frames do come in other colors. Silver, in particular, is making a comeback, especially in homes where grays and dusky colors are prominent. If you’re still partial to gold and natural wood frames, we have some selections that you’ll love.
Mirror, Image, and Border Color Wraps
No one says you have to have to frame your photos with a custom canvas frame. You can choose to go for a basic gallery wrap, instead. There are a few choices to consider if you go down this path. One is whether or not to opt for a plain white or other border color to be printed along the outside edges of the stretched canvas frame. Another choice you can make revolves around extending the photo or artwork to the outside edges in either a mirror wrap or image wrap. An image-wrap simply extends the photo as-is around the outside edges. A mirror wrap, however, mirrors the outer edge of the photo on the outside edge. Hanging Canvas
An up-and-coming rustic look in home decor is the hanging canvas. This unique option is actually a half frame (top and bottom, but no sides) with a hook and twine for hanging. We’ve seen customers create amazing vertical collages for one, long artful look, while others have mixed and matched longer prints with shorter, smaller ones for a wall with extra depth and dimension. You can even pair two, three or more together to create one, large, panoramic look! The wooden hangers on either end are made of chipped wood, and the itself canvas is held tight to either end with powerful magnets, ensuring your canvas and frame stay together for the long haul.
